I made two different types of curtain tie-backs, one is a macrame tie-back, it has a light and romantic design in a neutral color with frilly tassels. The other tie-back is made in a similar way, but with this one I made really colorful pom-poms. Hi Kate. Somewhere I saw Christmas tree ornaments that were just balls of white roving. I’d like to make some but can’t quite figure out how they were done. Any ideas?

Thank you SO much for your blog and resources! I am new to weaving and totally obsessed after my friend showed me the basics. For my first 6 weaves, I just winged it. Needless to say, they’re wacky and not as drool worthy as yours 😉

    (But I’m still having fun!)

I decided to finally sit down and figure out why they weren’t coming out great. Tension is a big issue, and some basic strategy + techniques will help tons.

Google of course dropped me on your site, and I’ve now spent an hour reading, learning and watching your videos.

Starting a new weave right now (perfect lazy Black Friday activity) and can’t wait to see the results improve 😉

    Thank you so much!
    xx Heidi
